Decipher HTML and Ajax @ MAX

WordPress, Drupal, Ajax, CSS -- These are all terms that HTML code junkies know well. But what about us mortals? Well, Adobe MAX is here to help -- and we have sessions and labs specifically aimed at giving you everything you need to design, build and understand how it all works. Here are some sessions that can really help:

"A Designer's Guide to Deciphering the Web" - Presented by Chris Converse, this beginner session will give you the confidence to start communicating better with your clients and your new web developer best friends about everything "web".

"Customizing WordPress Using Dreamweaver" and "Customizing Drupal Using Dreamweaver" - WordPress and Drupal are two of the most popular ways to create web sites that are fast to build, easy to maintain, and can be extended in tons of different ways. Customizing the design of them can be a bit tricky though. Well Luke Kilpatrick and Chris Charlton will walk you through how to install , customize, and maintain your sites using these engines -- all using your own laptop, so you can take it with you!

"Ajax for Designers" - Greg Rewis walks you through how to work with Ajax toolkits like Spry, jQuery, YUI and others and work with them inside Dreamweaver CS4. Greg will help keep the jargon away, and show you how to tame Ajax and be successful.

And for the adventurous...

"Getting Started with ColdFusion" -- Josh Adams and Kiran Sakhare will walk you through how to use your existing HTML and CSS skills and make your websites talk with live data. This beginner session will introduce what is considered one of the easiest programming languages to learn, and demonstrate how fast you can create cool web sites without breaking a sweat.

So if you live and breath HTML, Ajax, Dreamweaver and ColdFusion, or wish you did -- MAX 2009 is the place to be.

So join us and I'll see you there!

Doug
